Sourcing & Brokering
Finding the right piece. Or selling yours.
Most pieces a client wants are not in our case the day they ask. Sourcing (and its counterpart, brokering) is much of what we actually do.
Direct relationships with the brands we carry, deep contacts at the wholesalers, and a long memory of pieces we've sold and where they went: that's the network we put to work for a sourcing client. We'll find a specific configuration of a current production piece in days; a rarer vintage piece may take months. We'll be candid about the timeline.
Brokering and consignment work the other direction: a client has a piece they'd like to move quietly and well. We photograph and describe the piece, list it through the right channels, and handle the transaction. Pricing is honest. The piece goes to a good home.
The process
Network
We work through direct brand accounts, wholesalers, and our private network of dealers and collectors.
Vetting
Every candidate piece is vetted. We don't recommend what we wouldn't take home ourselves.
Delivery
Transfer or in-person delivery, with full provenance documentation where applicable.
